    shabka = network

    I’m not sure what the following phrase is, could the roots mean something to do with building, ie, “building business networks”?

    The first one on the richest men, caption reads: Welcome to the list of the 50 wealthiest Arabs in business in the world in 2007.

    Regarding the realia of the table: the first column gives the name of the rich person, the second their nationality, presumably the third is their ranking in the list and the fourth their professional titles, ie, head of such and such a company.
    For example: John Barron, British, 55th richest, Head of BP.

    The article celebrates the arrival of Arab businessmen in the list of the top 50 richest men (usually businessmen) in the world. Title “Saudis in the top 25 people influencing the world economy”. Includes people like John Brown, 55, President of BP, Silvio Berlusconi owner of TV channel, Mikhail Khodorkovsky of Yukos etc. Prince Walid Bin Talal feature as does ‘Abdullah Juma?” the president of the oil company Saudi Aramco. Also is there a Lebanese president of Nissan cars, Carlos Hassan?
